DEA MATTER

Our first collection, DEA MATTER (Mother Goddess), was inspired by a deep fascination with the Neolithic period and a profound love for the Maltese Islands. The massive temples of this pre-historic era, filled with figurines of a Female Deity, have sparked intrigue, particularly due to the absence of weapons and fortified settlements, suggesting a cooperative and egalitarian society.

Built with colossal limestone blocks, Malta's temples showcase advanced architecture, engineering, and artistic carving prowess at a time when metal was still unused. These paradoxes challenge our perception of neolithic people as simply "primitive societies."

The Dea Matter Collection features symbols and illustrations from sacred Neolithic sites in Malta and other Mediterranean countries, inviting exploration of a mysterious and paradoxical era of egalitarianism, peaceful coexistence, and reverence for Female Divinity.

Comprising a line of luxurious stationery, the Dea Matter Collection captures the essence of sacred Neolithic symbolism in Malta and across the Mediterranean Rim. Through these creations, a timeless narrative of cooperation, harmony, and reverence for the Divine Feminine is beautifully woven, inviting reflection and self-discovery.
